Re: the comment about speeding from listening to music...

In the early '90s "Stigmata" and "Burning Inside" by Ministry would do it for me. That and "Head Like A Hole" by Nine Inch Nails.

Nowadays, it's songs by [munk], Danko Jones, "Lying in Wait" by Uncrowned (had to be careful when listening to "INFECTION", natch). I think De La Vega also does it for me.

We may need to create a support group for people in situations like this. "Home Fry Speed Demons Anonymous"?

Dan: "Hi, I'm Dan, and I'm a Home Fry Speed Demon."
HFSDA Group: "Hi Dan!"

I will have to check with Dan on how he encoded the files. I know he doesn't use CastBlaster when he does them. Thank you for the heads up. Cool to know you listen on the phone!

I listened to podcasts on my phone (a S-E 750i). With shows 166 and 167 the mdeia player crapped out and wouldn't play those podcasts. Re-encoding with LAME solved the problem, but was wondering if you had done anything differently when shows 166 and 167 were encoded. Show 168 played fine without re-encoding.

Cheers,

Now if only we had a better search engine for the PMN, something like a Pandora, AmigoFish, or YES.com. Anything! There's so much good music, and that's the problem - there's too much of it!
