I have to say that this felt pretty damn good to win. The reaction from everyone in the crowd really hit home.
I thanked all the artists for allwoing me and other podcasters to play their music or else I wouldn’t be able to do what I do. The thank needs to go to them!
Headed to the Podcast Expo in the morning so I’m not sure when the next Accident Hash will be coming out. Rumors are that a live recording may be done there, but those are only rumors at the moment. *wink*
I’ve been big fans of those guys for a long time and they’ve become friends as well as inspirations. BinaryStar Music is the home of killer podsafe bands such as Holler, Rayko KRB and Lorena Mire’.
Check out the show for some fun rambles and also another new Now is Now track!
I’m starting to enjoy this early morning podcasting. The vibe is VERY different then late at night and both have their pros and cons. What I do know is that I love it! Boston in the fall gives me extra energy so watch out world.
To all the sportsracers out there or confused individuals check out ZeFrank right now. Then show my boy Chris over at The Financial Aid Podcast some love.
And please send in those submissions for what “independent” means to you! Call them in to 206-888-4274 or e-mail them to me. Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Sorry for slacking off and not getting you a new show sooner. Hopefully the munk slide show kept you occupied. *grin*
Accident Hash today is focusing on new music from old friends. I suddenly had an inbox filled with new tracks from some of my favorite artists so why not put them all together. You’ve found your way to the home of independent music so jack in and crank it up.
I also played some cool promos for lots of friends of the show. Take a moment to check them out, say hi and let them know where you heard about them. It’s always good to know that it’s working.
Today is something speical as I’m back from PodCamp and we’ve got the full audio of Uncle Seth performing a podsafe cover of Brother Love’s “Summertime.”
And even though I’ve done it a couple of times another huge thank you to Brother Love for embracing podcasting and for Uncle Seth for covering him. I can’t stop smiling.
Uncle Seth heard me talking over the past months about hoping that one podsafe artist would cover another and guess what? They stepped up and did so.
This past weekend at PodCamp Boston, Jay from the band said he had something special for me and that was it. Then he started talking about dedicating the next song to me and I couldn’t figure out where he was going. He said it was a cover so I figured a Prince song. Boy was I wrong.
As you’ll see in the video, they covered Brother Love’s “Summertime.” Not only did they have the balls to cover another song, but they covered one of the most popular artists and songs of the Podsafe Revolution!

I still can’t stop smiling from this. Full audio of the song will be on the next Accident Hash. I didn’t even realize I had this video on my camera until I started going through my photos.
This episode is a bit different then most. It’s a special recording that will play at the registration table for PodCamp Boston. The focus was on podcasting type songs and then to fill the time I played some of my favorite Boston area bands as well. Can’t go wrong with that?
A little something different today as I open the doors of the U-Turn Cafe to all of my Accident Hash Listeners.
I hope you don’t mind the diversion into this mellow and chilled little alcove on the web. Featuring music from David McMillin, Black Lab, Joshua Kadison and more.
Thanks to The Journey Inside My Mind podcast for the special introduction. Took me long enough to play it didn’t it? Sorry about that. I love it!
