I believe that podcasting helps to sell podsafe music, because that makes music of podsafe artists more accessible. I don't think that many listeners want to search the PMN for good music. That's where podcasting comes in: all you have to do is subscribe to a podcast and then you'll get some great tunes on your MP3 player automatically.
